Yeah -- what SHE said: "Just look around various blogs’ comments–you see things like “wetbacks” and other revolting (and embarrassing!) euphemisms. And anyone who doesn’t think calling Bush “El Presidente Jorge Arbusto” and the like smacks of the rhetoric of a racist is just willfully blind. And these people call themselves “conservatives,” which infuriates me. How DARE they appropriate a word I use for myself. We ostracize our racists and loons, and I won’t associate with any of the new breed of racists and loons. I’m sure even Tom Tancredo doesn’t want to be tarnished with the reputation of some of his advocates, either."
