Tony Snow
Tony Snow has announced that he will be undergoing Colon Cancer surgery next week, an admission only necessary in that there would most likely be public speculation over his place in the Fox News pecking order if he were to suddenly disappear for a few weeks due to "private matters" (especially as, thanks to Hollywood, "private matters" has come to be the euphemism of choice for "drug rehab", "nervous breakdown" and "chronic alcoholism").
Tony is one of my favorite news commentator/reporter/analysts (neck and neck with Brit Hume for Homocon's "Sexiest News Flasher" Award), and he will be sorely missed while he's out for repairs.
Before joining FOX News, Tony Snow was a nationally syndicated columnist with The Detroit News, a columnist for USA Today and an editorial writer at The Virginian-Pilot. He was also editorial page editor of The Daily Press in Newport News, VA, deputy editorial page editor of The Detroit News, and editorial page editor of The Washington Times.
