Bush vs. Ritter
Check out this blog op-ed at Blogcritics.org, titled "Who do YOU believe, Scott Ritter or George Bush?", which, typically, paints George Bush as a liar and is posted by some leftie who charmingly calls himself 'Big Time Patriot' while blithely dismissing any American intervention in the Middle East as anything but some Machiavellian plot for world domination.
The comments afterward dissolve into the usual juvenile name calling.
Topic 2:
A friend of mine was on her way into the office today and called in to a radio show that was discussing this. Hers was one of the first calls aired, and she stated, "Let's not even waste a bullet on these people -- let's just drop them in a pit and chop up their lawyers as chicken feed for when they get hungry." When the Talk-Radio host criticized her as being "a little harsh", she replied, "These people repeatedly raped their 7 month old infant, nearly to death. Not even animals behave like this to their young."
She told me she listened in amazement the rest of the ride to work as calls poured into the show to both praise and demonize her for her comments (She is, BTW, the mother of one young child with another on the way . . .).
Doctors who attended the infant mentioned in the linked article (and the subject of the Radio Show) stated, "We've never seen those types of injuries in a baby that was (still) alive."
